STOCK PHOTOGRAPHY AND MICRO-STOCK PHOTOGRAPHY
From 2012, I will be spending more and more of my time involved in Stock Photography.
Stock Photography is the supply of photographs, licensed for various uses including, advertising, promotion, marketing and packaging, for any product or service. As a stock photographer I upload my images to dedicated Stock Photography websites, who then licence the images for specific use to interested parties. In basic terms, image buyers go to these Stock websites to buy images to use on their projects, and I receive a small cut of the payments made.
Subjects sign Model Release forms giving me permission to licence their images for use in any media for any purpose. An example Model Release Form for Paul Brown’s Photography, is shown below.
Building Owners sign property release forms giving the same permission. An example property release form from Paul Brown’s Photography, is also below.
In some circumstances my customers can negotiate a discount from their commission by agreeing to sign release forms allowing images to be licensed as stock images. Please contact me for further details.
This page will be updated with more links to my images in the near future, but in the meantime, if you would like to learn more about Stock Photography, please click here.
